KOALAS
live in trees and eat a special kind of eucalypt leaves. They are very sleepy and slow moving during the day, and become more active at night. They hardly ever drink water - they get all the moisture they need from the gum leaves they eat. Baby koalas are raised in their mother's pouch for about a year. |
